During class, my peers from A-Level watched my music video where they gave different kinds of praise of what I have done well. They also gave me feedback to further improve my video. Here are the feedback cards shown below: Reading through my feedback, I noticed that one strong positive was the cinematography. I made sure that I had at least 3+ angles of each shot so that I would be able to cut to each angle every few seconds so that my music video did not get boring One point I was told to improve was to make my narrative more clearer. I decided to create my very own small questionnaire for my BTEC Media class to answer so I could hear from a group of students between 16-17 who are relatively new into studying the media industry. Looking at my second question, which was "what was most clearly done well in the music video?", the constant ticked box was editing. This was a massive part of my music video as I wanted to grasp many different camera shots to keep up with the pace of the song and to keep it constantly engaging. I did this by making my artist repeat his performance between 7-10 times so I was able to move the camera around using a tripod and capture different shots of my artist (different distances and positions). This raw footage is part of the start/chorus of my music video. The idea was to create a stage feel with the microphone prop. I also feel if there was no mic prop I believe it would be a lot more difficult to create a realistic music video because it would simply just be one artist in a forest with no props. The location I used was a public forest, which has large areas where we had enough space to have a good looking background behind my artist. Another positive was the pathway, where I was able to get extreme long shots of my artist walking towards the mic. The pathway gave me many ideas in terms of editing down into a montage of him walking towards the mic. One drawback of this location is the constant dog walkers coming past. Casting : image of your talent and why they were chose as artist Artist name For most artists, merchandise is sold for another way to generate money and also to be connected with their audience. Usually, especially in the Indie rock genre, the logo on merch is mainly just the artist/bands name. The logo "Callum Rudd" is the name of my artist. I also have my old name "JHUTCH" however I changed my mind because I felt for an indie artist, the name had to be simple.  I put my logo on a plain black t shirt, with tour dates on the black. This item of clothing fits the style of Indie fashion because of how simple but effective it is. For my old logo, the font of the name logo was a paisley pattern.
