BTEC Media feedback
I decided to create my very own small questionnaire for my BTEC Media class to answer so I could hear from a group of students between 16-17 who are relatively new into studying the media industry.
Looking at my second question, which was "what was most clearly done well in the music video?", the constant ticked box was editing. This was a massive part of my music video as I wanted to grasp many different camera shots to keep up with the pace of the song and to keep it constantly engaging. I did this by making my artist repeat his performance between 7-10 times so I was able to move the camera around using a tripod and capture different shots of my artist (different distances and positions). This was important to get so many shots because of my narrative which is not so clear.
In the third question, most of the class ticked locations as something what wasn't so clear in my music video. Even though the BTEC students have seen this as a weakness, I am content that they saw the locations as unclear because I didn't want the locations to be well known places in Hull. This made my music video more mysterious in the fact that I used locations where people would not go in their day to day life.
