Progress of my Album Poster
I started with the background where I watched a tutorial on how to warp a specified picture. I warped a picture of a wave and created this background which I found unique. Unfortunately, the video since then has been taken down from YouTube.

I then added my first layer which was my artist. I quickly realised that I wanted to add an effect on the layer as it did not look part of my poster. I eventually chose Linear Light after looking through effects. |
Choosing Linear Light makes the artist look part of the poster. |
I then added my artist logo which I have talked about through one of my blogposts and why I find its important to create a logo name for an artist so they can be easily remembered. |
Next, I added conventional parts to what an album poster should contain which includes a debut album, which songs and when the album is out |
I thought I would add below a website devoted to my artist and his upcoming album. I got this inspiration from huge artists like Liam Gallagher who have their own websites where they sell merchandise and tickets. |
I put finishing touches in such as small lines at the bottom so it fits with the artist logo. Also, I added Domino company, which is a record label to make my artist more real. I finished with adding that my album will be able to be bought on Spotify and iTunes |
If I could do this again, I would definitely give myself more of an choice of what type of photo I want as I only took one photo and that is the one I used. If I took more, I would of been able to use other photos and post them on my blog so that you could see that I had a variety of photos to choose from.
